After an 8-hour flight and a good night's sleep in the capital of Maharashtra, the second day of the workshop began with a visit to the famous "Gateway of India" in the south of the city. This monumental arch was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary. It is located a few steps from the small city port and the magnificent Taj Hotel.

Then we took a boat to visit the Elephanta Caves island 9 km from Mumbai. This island has beautiful caves carved in honor of Shiva, the god of Creation and Destruction. After a few hours on the island, we visited the Gandhi museum and the hanging gardens. Our day ended with a chai (Indian tea) on the terrace of the beautiful Tote bar-restaurant, with its unique architecture and decoration (which has been awarded several prizes).
